Other options for higher price Manufacture ink cartridges

Remanufactured Black Ink Cartridges
Most consumers are confused by and frustrated with the fact that ink cartridges are so high in price when printer prices are currently very low. Inexpensive printers are widely available for about the same cost as purchasing a name-brand black and color ink-jet cartridges, though most new printers come with cartridges that only hold a small amount of ink. Many consumers are rightfully appalled at the outrageous prices for Ink-jet and toner cartridges, and many are not satisfied with non-manufacturer re-fill kit options, even though they seem to be easier on the budget. The fact that self-fill kits are oftentimes messy and don’t always work, makes them anything but economically favored.
Dataproducts Remanufactured ink cartridges help to keep replacement ink prices lower than what is available through major printer vendors. The major retailers, including Canon, Epson, Hewlett-Packard, and Lexmark, are frustrated by the existence of independent manufacturers of alternative inks. Some of the vendors are suing third-party makers of cartridge clones for so-called blantant patent violations. This tends to leave consumers at a technological fork in the road, where they must decide to either purchase name-brand ink for a hefty price, or risk substandard printouts and malfunctions by buying replacement ink jet cartridges from a generic ink distributor. As PC World has found, however, plenty of worthy third-party replacement ink jets are also available, such as, Dataproducts Remanufactured Black Ink Cartridges for all-in-one HP printers. They are readily available from Midwest Merchandise online at: http://www.midwest-merchandise.com/. Cartridges for other printer models are also available.

Hewlett Packard’s general manager, Pradeep Jotwani, stated that their cartridge prices aren't high-priced when considering the cost of researching, then developing the technology and ultimately manufacturing the product. He further stated, "These aren't just bottles of ink you put inside of your printer.” He explained that HP's ink jet cartridges are very sophisticated, as each one has 40 microscopic nozzles that precisely expel billions of ink dots across a single page. HP is also fastidiously attentive to ink quality, Jotwani says, to assure uniform viscosity and color. This argument may hold true for other major printer manufacturers, however, consumers desire vendors to research less expensive options for developing and manufacturing to meet their customer’s printing needs. Buyers can’t help but wonder if any further research is being done to curtail cost that is being passed onto the consumer. Printing is a necessity in both the corporate and private sectors, and the consumer is stuck paying a price they don’t want to pay for cartridges, when no alternatives are available. The only option, at this point, is competing companies who chose to produce a good quality product at a lower market price. If HP, Lexmark, Epson and all the others want consumers to keep buying their ink, they have to do more than be frustrated by independent distributors. Companies like Dataproducts provide economical, quality black ink cartridges, such as their Remanufactured Black Ink Cartridges for Hewlett-Packard, because they are able to provide what consumers want to buy, even though other companies claim they can’t get the price any lower.
