Mass Effect Has Hit the Shelves: Xbox 360 Gamers Compare It to Halo 2

Xbox 360 gamers should be thrilled to know that the Xbox 360 game Mass
Effect is on the shelves. Mass Effect is a perfect role-playing game but
adds the combat adventure of Halo 2 into the mix. It has great production
value and it's fun and exciting to play and watch. This is a progressive
storytelling game in which the background is constructed by the developer
BioWare. Their experience in storytelling games until now has been top
notch and they continue to set the standard with this fantastic; futuristic;
chase the villain across the universe and galaxy game. It has multifaceted
characters which combine with a unique combat interface. Though there are
small glitches in the game; most gamers can overlook them and be absorbed by
the exhaustive back story and stupendous video graphics.; This is not simply
a combat game like Halo 2. It is a role-playing game in which you get to
customize your own avatar and play the character of Commander Sheppard. As
Commander; you are given a mission to save the galaxy but you as the gamer
have the options to interface with different personality traits as you see
best. There is a variety of preset features but you will be able to make
the Commander your own person as your sale to the stars in search of a
villain that is bent on destruction and evil. Like medieval fantasy
counterpart games; Mass Effect is a game where you can design attributes and
even a class of citizens. Each class has a separate strength and
personality and you as the gamer must learn how to wield your character to
fit the class attributes and to the best of your ability follow the
storyline to beat the game.; The narrative of the game contains a deep plot
in which you will find out that there are other species in charge of the
universe instead of the usual species; humans. Unlike its contemporary;
Halo 2; the hero will have to solve not only military type operations but
also political operations in which there may be assassinations; kidnappings;
or just plain political intrigue. The main flaw of Mass Effect is that at
the beginning of the game you are chasing the villain; but in the middle of
the game the villain simply disappears and you are put on side missions that
have nothing to do with the ultimate goal of the game. The fun part is that
you get the chase the villain across the galaxy and visit different worlds.
The graphics of these worlds; from a rocky desert to a steamy jungle; is an
exciting change from the standard one world game in which this genre has
been repeated over and over again.; If you are looking to find Mass Effect
in your local video game store; good luck. Not only will it probably be
sold out; but the games that are still left on the shelves will be
overpriced. It is best to find this game online through a online vendor.
This way you will be sure of the availability and at the same time be able
to buy the game at a discount price.
